Astronomers for Planet Earth (A4E)
Since 2022, I have had the privilege of being an active member of Astronomers for Planet Earth (A4E).
All of my work regarding sustainability within the astronomical community is conducted under the A4E umbrella. What started as a grassroots movement has grown into a global network of over 2,200 members—ranging from students and amateur stargazers to Nobel Prize laureates—all dedicated to addressing the climate crisis from our unique perspective as explorers of the cosmos.
I truly believe that looking “up” gives us the best perspective for looking “down” at our own fragile home. If you are interested in how the scientific community is pivoting toward a greener future, I encourage you to read more about A4E or explore its Wikipedia page. We are always looking for new voices, so please feel free to join us from wherever you happen to be on this pale blue dot.
